The citadel of the fortress and surrounding territory Bendery, Peter Panin str. 2
The citadel is the core of the Bendery fortification complex. It is the stone castle that has the shape of square trapeze in bottom view, size 84×101×75×101 m, oriented to the cardinal directions. The building date is XIV-XV centuries, the reconstruction beginning – the year 1538.

The constructions surrounding the citadel and the constructions of the Lower fortress, Bendery, Peter Panin str. 1
The watch tower, located to the South-West from the citadel, as well as the towers of the Lower fortress (Middle platform) were built at the time of the third stage of the construction periodization of the fortress, in Spring-Summer 1584 by Moldavian leader Peter Hromoi by order of the Turkish sultan. The water tower was built in 1617-1619, during the construction of the external bastioned line of the fortress. Two buildings – the barrack in the Middle platform and the stable in the former city square in the Lower fortress were built by Russian engineers after 1812, after the fortress and the region had joined the Russian Empire

The territory of the former pontoon regiment, Bendery, Peter Panin str. 2/3
The territory is closed, surrounded by external dry moat, by the fence of the CJSC “Bendery car assembly plant” and by the military base. All the constructions in the territory have post-Turkish origin. They were built at the time of Russian Empire after 1812, in the period from the beginning to the end of ХIХ century. The territory is guarded 24/7 by foot patrol, by video surveillance, and some buildings by alarm. All the buildings are registered in one registration title document with the same serial number, together with the up to date constructions located in the territory
