6 сентября 2022 года. Завершён ещё один этап по стяжке и обвязке башен специальными стальными тросами. Этой процедуре подверглись три башни - Башня №5 (Армянская), Форт в Нижней крепости и Водяная башня. К каждой из них применялся индивидуальный подход в выполнении этой процедуры, в зависимости от формы самой башни, характера и степени их разрушения. Сейчас турецкие специалисты приступили к самому главному этапу реставрации - подготовка первых трех башен западной стены к накрытию их деревянной крышей. Идёт процесс восстановления каменных зубцов на башнях, на которые впоследствии будут устанавливаться деревянные балки.
Также продолжается реставрация крепостных стен и зубцов внтури самой цитадели.
Restoration in action (part 4)
One more stage of pulling and binding of towers with special steel cables has been completed. Three towers were subjected to this process - Tower #5 (Armenian), Fort and Water Tower. In this process an individual approach was applied to each of them, depending on the shape of the tower itself, the nature and degree of their destruction.
Currently Turkish specialists have started the most important stage of restoration - the preparation of the first three towers of the western wall for covering with a wooden roof. There is a process of restoring the stone battlements on the towers, later wooden beams will be installed on them.
The restoration of the fortress walls and battlements inside the citadel is also continuing.
