The Alexander Nevsky Park, located in the Bendery Fortress, gathers many guests again. It has become a tradition here to hold large-scale festivals on weekends. This time a festive extravaganza awaits jazz lovers.
The Dniesterjazz is not only an opportunity to get into the spirit of the heyday of the jazz era, but also to take part in master classes: for example, learn the basics of ballroom dancing, master the skills of playing the electric guitar or try yourself as a portrait painter. In the park there are also thematic photo zones. There are also exhibitions and sales of arts and crafts. The musical part of the festival began with the awarding of all participants with memorable diplomas of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage - the main organizer of the event. The first to step onto the stage were the musicians of “the Liberty”, the state quintet known far beyond Pridnestrovie. Recently, the artists returned with the award of the international festival-contest "Sounds of Russia", and today they perform the best compositions from their repertoire.
Due to bad weather, the festival organizers decided to finish it earlier than originally planned. At the same time, the audience of Dniesterjazz did not skimp on applause, thanks impetuously for the performance of everyone who went on stage that day. Next weekend the Alexander Nevsky Park will gather new guests: on June 15 there will be a festival in memory of Vladimir Vysotsky "The meeting place cannot be changed."
